re: Russian interference in our elections
Call on Congress to begin an independent, bipartisan investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election:
By now, Americans know beyond any reasonable doubt that the Russian government orchestrated a series of cyberattacks on political campaigns and organizations over the past two years and used stolen information to influence the presidential campaign and congressional races.
We know that these intrusions were more than just "hacks" -- they were attacks on the United States by a foreign power.
Unfortunately, there is still too much that we don't know about the motives, methods, and specific objectives of the Russian government. Without that understanding, our country will be left vulnerable to similar attacks in future elections.
That's why, yesterday, I sent a letter to Paul Ryan calling on Congress to begin an independent, bipartisan investigation into Russia's unprecedented interference in the 2016 election. The integrity of our elections is too important for Congress to refuse to take these attacks seriously.
If you agree that the American people deserve answers, then add your name to mine and demand a full investigation from Congress:
