So

Pretty soon, Democrats will come together in Philadelphia to choose our nominee -- and our nation's next president.

And if we've learned anything over the course of these past few years (and few weeks), it's this: No matter who we have in the Oval Office, he or she will need a Congress that's willing to work with them in order to keep America moving forward.

That's why I'm committing right now to do everything I can to help not only elect another Democrat as president, but also to help Democrats take back the House and Senate, too -- and I'm asking you to make that same commitment today.

So, if you're able to, be one of the 15 people from San Francisco Democrats still need to pitch in $3 or more to the Democratic Majority Fund before tonight's end-of-quarter deadline.

We still need 16 people before midnight

Taking back the House and the Senate is a key part of making sure our next Democratic president has a Congress that functions.

So before our first quarterly deadline of 2016, be one of the 16 people we need from San Francisco to pitch in to contribute to our Democratic Majority Fund so we can elect Democrats up and down the ticket in every state. The average contribution from San Francisco is $44.

Tonight is our first quarterly fundraising deadline of 2016, so I'll be blunt: We are knee-deep in this election, the water's rising fast and the only way we'll stay afloat is with the support of Democrats like you. The average contribution from San Francisco is $44.

I don't mean to sound panicky, but the idea that Donald Trump or Ted Cruz could become president because we didn't do enough to stop them is a recurring nightmare of mine -- and really should be for all of us.

I know you don't want that nightmare to become a reality either. So we're looking for 16 more Democrats from San Francisco to pitch in $3 or more before our quarterly deadline. And when you become one of them, I'll mark you down as an official supporter of our Democratic Majority Fund -- committed to winning Democratic majorities at every level so we can stop the next Trump or Cruz before they get started.

How does that sound?

Thanks for stepping up again.

I'm asking for your help

Friend --

Think back to 2008. Before I took office, we were losing 800,000 jobs a month, and unemployment was on its way to 10 percent. Affordable, reliable health care was out of reach for far too many of our fellow Americans. And marriage equality was the law of the land in just two states. But elections matter, and look at where we are today.

We've moved this country forward because supporters like you took ownership of that campaign and the next one, because you knew what was at stake -- and what was possible when we worked together.

We've been busy these last eight years. And we're still busy, because we've got more work to do. Part of that work now is doing what we can to elect leaders this November who are going to work to make this great country of ours even better.

When I see the great candidates we have, I can't tell you how proud I am to be a Democrat. I'm not only talking about the folks running to succeed me in office, but also those running to win back our majority in the Senate -- and while we're at it, how about the House, too? They're fighting for people who haven't had the same chances we have but who we believe should be able to make it. That we'll all be living in a better world when that happens. That's what we stand for as Democrats -- and that's what we should stand for as Americans.

We've got a big deadline tonight. And if we're going to reach these big goals of holding the White House and winning back our Democratic majorities in Congress, we're going to need everyone to do their part. You can help us get there by pitching in $3 or whatever you can toward our Democratic Majority Fund by midnight tonight.

This is all we have left

Taking back the House and the Senate is a key part of making sure our next Democratic president has a Congress that functions.

So before our first quarterly deadline of 2016, be one of the 32 people we need from San Francisco to pitch in to contribute to our Democratic Majority Fund so we can elect Democrats up and down the ticket in every state.

March 31st. June 30th. September 30th.

That's it. We have three big deadlines before November 8th. Now, seven months may sound like a long time (and working as hard as we are, it's sure going to feel that way), but time is really going to fly and we need to make sure we're making every single day count.

And right now is a great time to start helping to make sure Democrats across the country have what they need to win and win big. By the time June rolls around, we're going to have our convention in Philadelphia right around the corner, and by September, we're going to be in final countdown mode to Election Day, so tomorrow's deadline is especially important to help us know we have the resources to get us to the finish line.

We're looking for 32 donations from San Francisco before tomorrow at midnight. Can I count on you to make one of them?

Thanks to supporters like you in San Francisco...

Friend --

Some people think that you've got to be the President of the United States to make something important happen or that a President can do everything alone, but that really isn't the case. Real change happens from the bottom up, from individuals coming together to fight for what they believe in. It takes all of us working together.

We've seen that time and again these last seven years, and I couldn't be more thankful for you and others like you who have been with us every step of the way on this journey. When Barack campaigned for change we can believe in, he knew we were going to hold him to it. And because supporters like you spoke out on the issues you cared most about, whether it was health care or education reform or fighting climate change, we've made some incredible progress.

And now, we're only seven months out from Election Day, which is our chance to elect leaders who are going to keep fighting for us. If we want to continue to build the world we want for our kids and for future generations, we need to step up and work for it together.

There is so much on the line this November, and it's on us to make sure we do everything we can to support our great Democratic candidates when it matters most. As March comes to an end, we're facing a major fundraising deadline and need 47 donations from people in San Francisco to help make sure Democrats up and down the ballot have the resources they need to win. Can I count on you to be one of them by pitching in $11 or whatever you can right now?

Fwd: Can you make one of 98 donations from San Francisco?

I'm so proud of everything our grassroots supporters like you have done to make sure our next president is a Democrat. But like President Obama said, that's only half the battle -- we have to make sure we're working just as hard to elect Democrats to House and Senate seats all across the country.

When the President emailed yesterday, we needed 98 donations from San Francisco to our Democratic Majority Fund. As of now, we still need 55 before our deadline on Thursday. Will you heed the President's call and make one today?

Thanks so much.

Together, we've moved this country forward in ways that many thought impossible eight years ago. But our work doesn't end when I leave the White House.

I'd like to tell you that electing a Democratic president this November will be enough to make sure we can tackle the challenges of the future. I'd like to say that, even without a functioning and supportive Congress, the next president could reform our criminal justice system, transform our educational system, continue to grow our economy and shrink our uninsured rate, and protect the rights of the most vulnerable amongst us.

But that's not how our government works.

One person simply can't do this work alone -- even with remarkable support from people like you. We have three branches for a reason -- to get things done, to compromise, to balance one another. But that balance is thrown off when a group of Republican lawmakers is only focused on partisan political obstructionism, without concern for the consequences.

And just recently, we've seen scientists urging immediate action on climate change, people standing in line for hours to vote because they no longer have the full protections of the Voting Rights Act, and Republican lawmakers voting to legalize discrimination against the LGBT community.

Look: I know we are going to fight our hardest to put another Democrat in the Oval Office, but we need to also make sure that we give that person allies they can work with -- and the way we do that is by electing Democrats up and down the ballot this November. That's why the DNC has created the Democratic Majority Fund. Pitch in $3 or whatever you can before Thursday's deadline to say you're committed to giving the next Democratic president a real chance to make a difference in American lives for generations to come.

We still need 68 donations from San Francisco

Friend --

As we look back to what we've accomplished these last seven and a half years, it's pretty remarkable.

Saving the economy from a depression. The longest streak of jobs created in history. Unemployment cut in half. Deficit cut by three-fourths. Millions of Americans with quality, affordable health insurance. Leading the world on climate change. From economic crisis to recovery to resurgence -- today America is better positioned to own the 21st century than any other nation. Period.

But you and I know it wasn't easy to get where we are today. And when Barack and I walk out of the White House, the work doesn't end. In order to make sure we protect the progress we've made and keep reaching for even greater heights, we have to elect leaders with the vision, heart, and integrity to get it done.

Nothing is guaranteed in politics, so I know we have a hard fight ahead of us -- but I also know that we have all the right things going for us. We stand on the right side of the issues that touch people's daily lives. And we've got supporters who are going to do whatever it takes to make sure we put another Democrat in the White House and win back control of the Senate -- and while we're at it, how about the House of Representatives, too? They don't call me an optimist for nothing.

So if you can, pitch in $11 or more before Thursday's end-of-quarter deadline. We're still looking for 68 donations from supporters in San Francisco, and I hope you'll make one of them.
