Late last night, at around 1:00 a.m. ET, Senate Republicans voted to move forward with repealing the Affordable Care Act with no plan to replace it. They also blocked Democratic attempts to protect important provisions like ensuring coverage for people with pre-existing conditions and letting young people stay on their parents' insurance.
This is just the first step in the repeal process -- which means there's still time to take action before millions of Americans lose access to health care.
