re: the most corrupt administration in history
Trump's business interests present an unprecedented, unethical conflict of interest with his presidency. Pitch in to help us fight back against corruption in the Trump administration:
I have to agree with Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown: "An administration with personal financial interests that compete against American interests is ripe for corruption."
We expect our presidents to place what's best for the country at the forefront of every decision they make. But when Donald Trump enters the Oval Office, his first priority will be his own bottom line.
Trump's decision not to divest from his businesses means that regulation of his hotels, airplanes, golf courses, and apartment buildings will be overseen by people whose job security comes from the White House. And since he won't release his tax returns, there's no real way for the American people to know where the list of potential conflicts of interest ends.
Here's one thing I know: even though we're still a few days from his inauguration, there's already a mountain of evidence that proves without any doubt that we can't trust Donald Trump.
Our work to keep Donald Trump from running the most corrupt administration in our history has already started. Pitch in $3 or whatever you can now to help us keep going.
