re: what Trump confirmed this morning
Add your name to tell Congress to vote for an independent investigation into Trump's ties to Russia.
When news broke last night that Donald Trump put our national security at risk by revealing highly classified information to the Russian government, top-level administration officials including the Secretary of State and National Security Advisor insisted the reports were wrong.
This morning, Trump tweeted -- even bragged -- that he'd done exactly what he was accused of doing.
We've seen this movie before. After Trump fired James Comey, his administration scrambled to find a justification that wasn't related to the FBI's investigation into Trump and Russia. Then, Trump admitted on television that he was thinking about how the Russia investigation should be over when he fired Comey.
If Trump weren't president, his dangerous disclosure to Russia could end with him in handcuffs.
Instead, it's up to Congress to hold Trump accountable -- and we know we can't trust Republicans like Paul Ryan to put aside politics and do the right thing for our country.
So Democrats are taking action. Tomorrow, House Democrats will demand an on-the-record vote to create an independent panel to investigate Trump's ties to Russia.
We can't let the corrupt Trump administration and its allies in Congress get in the way of the truth. Add your name to stand with Democrats and tell Congress to vote for an independent investigation into Trump and Russia:
Thanks for taking action,
