We're coming up short of our April fundraising goal. With only five hours left before our deadline, I hope you'll give me a second to explain what your donation means:

Right now, the DNC is launching programs earlier in the presidential election cycle than ever before to help defeat Donald Trump and the GOP -- programs like Organizing Corps 2020 and our War Room that your donation will help get off the ground. By donating before midnight, you'll send a message of just how committed you are to electing Democrats from local office to the Oval Office in 2020.

Goal thermometer
We're counting on 44 more dedicated Democrats from San Francisco to make a $3 contribution before midnight. Whatever you give now will go a long way to help us reach our goal.

When I say that your donation made before midnight makes all of the difference, I really mean it. We cannot afford to come up short of this goal if we want to form the strong foundation that state and national campaigns will build upon to defeat Donald Trump and the GOP.

We are still short of hitting our April goal, and whatever you are able to give before midnight tonight will help us cross the finish line. Be one of 44 more supporters from San Francisco to donate $3 before midnight tonight to send a strong message to Donald Trump and the RNC that we will not back down.

Thanks for standing with Democrats.

What we do before tonight's deadline matters to future generations

If we have any chance of saving our economy, nation, and planet from climate change, we must defeat Donald Trump in 2020. That work starts before tonight's deadline.

DemocratsJoin us.
Donald Trump withdrawing the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement wasn't just reckless or stupid or ideological -- it was dangerous.

Climate change is already hurting Americans every day -- making it harder for farmers to put food on our tables, harder to protect our families from natural disasters, harder to make sure our kids have clean air and clean water. And then President Trump pulls out of the only international agreement that committed almost every country on earth to do something meaningful about it.

Newly elected Democratic members of Congress are fighting to reverse some of this President's mistakes, but others will haunt us for decades. On climate, the math is clear: Our planet simply cannot afford four more years with Donald Trump in the White House. That's why I have to ask:

Before tonight's critical deadline, will you donate $3 to the One-Term President Fund to ensure we elect Democrats from local office to the Oval Office in 2020? Whatever you are able to give will make an incredible difference.

Here's the thing: Climate change is a real threat and it is already impacting the United States. Earlier this month, I testified along with the former Secretary of Defense at a congressional hearing to speak about the urgent threat climate change poses to our national security.

I shared that when I was Secretary of State, I visited Naval Station Norfolk. It's the biggest naval installation in the world, and the land beneath it is literally sinking. Sea levels on the East Coast are rising twice as fast as the global average, putting our naval fleet at risk. Historic droughts are also exacerbating instability in places that are already breeding grounds for violent extremism.

This is a national security threat -- one the Pentagon and even President Trump's Director of National Intelligence warn about. But too many -- peddling "alternative facts" and led by a President who calls climate change a "hoax" -- don't want to talk about it, let alone do anything about it.

Time and time again, the Trump administration has shown us where it stands when it comes to protecting the environment and fighting climate change: They have no policy other than to do what the polluters want, and then some!

If we have any chance of saving our economy, nation, and planet from climate change, we must defeat Donald Trump in 2020. That work starts before tonight's deadline.

Donate $3 to the One-Term President Fund before midnight tonight to help kick Donald Trump and his GOP allies out of office. What we do right now will have an enormous impact on future generations.

Thanks for your help,

John

Trump can call it a witch hunt all he wants

Trump's entire presidency has been a constant stream of corruption, nonsense, and disastrous policymaking, and he has spat in the faces of working people.

DemocratsJoin us.
Friend --

Donald Trump can keep tweeting, "NO COLLUSION!" and "WITCH HUNT!" all he wants, but my Democratic colleagues and I won't stop fighting to make sure American families get these two things:
  1. The truth about Trump and his cronies' shady efforts to conceal their connection to a hostile foreign government and undermine the rule of law in the process.
  2. Real leaders who will stand up for the best of America and defend our shared values -- not capitalize on our worst instincts and fears for their own political, personal, and financial gain.
Trump's entire presidency has been a constant stream of corruption, nonsense, and disastrous policymaking, and he's spent the past two years weakening the very foundation of our democracy. We have the power to demand better leadership, but only if we come together right now to build the strong party infrastructure it will take to win the White House and seats up and down the ballot next year.

Staying on track to defeat Trump and his GOP allies depends on whether the Democratic Party can hit our mission-critical fundraising goal before tonight's deadline. Every donation made before tonight at midnight will be put straight to work powering the programs and infrastructure we'll need to win in 2020, which is why I have an important request:

Can you make your first donation of 2019 before tonight's deadline? Any amount you can afford to give today will play an important role in our fight for 2020.

When loyal supporters like you helped win back the House, our job to hold Trump and his administration accountable for its lies and corruption got a whole lot easier. Thanks in huge part to this dedicated grassroots team, my colleagues and I on the House Judiciary Committee now have the authority to demand answers from Trump and his Republican enablers. That's a big deal, but the whole truth is that Democrats have our work cut out for us and need to be fighting tooth and nail to send Trump and the GOP packing.

Winning the White House, taking back the Senate, and holding our House majority will all depend on how prepared the DNC is to lift our eventual nominee for president and Democrats across the country to victory -- and that preparation has to happen now, while it's still early in the race. This month's fundraising deadline is a critical milestone for Democrats in that fight, so by making your first donation of this year before tonight at midnight, you'll make a huge impact on Democrats winning the White House and seats up and down the ticket next year.

Will you make a $3 contribution to the DNC to fund the critical infrastructure we'll need to win the White House and seats in all 50 states next year? Waiting until the general election to prepare will be too late, so your support before this deadline will make a tangible difference.

Thanks for fighting alongside me,

Ted

Ted Lieu
Member of Congress, CA-33

P.S. It's time we un-elect this Tweeter-in-Chief and his GOP enablers. Reaching this fundraising goal will be crucial to Democrats' fight to win the Oval Office and seats up and down the ballot next year, so donate $3 before tonight at midnight to power this fight.

This is an uphill battle:

Closing the gap on President Trump's and Republicans' lead is still within reach, but only if we hit this goal together.

DemocratsJoin us.
I've run against a sitting president before and came within inches of beating him, so believe me when I tell you that it's an uphill battle.

We fought our hearts out together in 2004. We organized communities and rallied voters across the country. But incumbency is a home-field advantage -- an advantage that Donald Trump is enjoying this very moment.

By the time Democrats have officially selected our party's nominee next July, President Trump will have had a three and a half-year head start in fundraising and organizing for another four years in the Oval Office. The DNC is actively working to narrow that lead by investing in organizing in key battleground states earlier than ever, overhauling Democrats' tech and data, and launching groundbreaking projects like the War Room that'll help keep President Trump's poll numbers low. These essential programs will all contribute to the strong party infrastructure our eventual 2020 nominee and Democrats nationwide will rely on to win -- but we cannot fund them properly unless our party reaches our April fundraising goal by midnight tonight.

Closing the gap on President Trump's lead is still within reach, but only if we hit this goal together. That's why I'm asking you to make your first donation of 2019 before midnight.

Contribute $3 to the DNC's One-Term President Fund before tonight's critical end-of-month fundraising deadline. Building a strong Democratic Party capable of beating President Trump and Republicans can only happen with the help of grassroots supporters like you.

President Trump has attacked fundamental parts of our American system, like a fair and free press and decades-old alliances. We can't hand President Trump and Republicans four more years of this chaos, which is why your support today, before our party's midnight deadline, has never been more critical for our eventual 2020 nominees, our country, and our future.

The DNC is the only party organization responsible for electing a Democratic president next year, and our nominee won't stand a chance against President Trump and the RNC's fundraising machine unless we come together to level the playing field right now -- not next year, or even next month. Hitting this fundraising goal will keep us on track to do that, which is why I'm asking you directly:

Will you make a $3 donation to the One-Term President Fund before tonight's deadline if you're as committed as I am to beating President Trump and the GOP in 2020? The fight to elect a Democratic president and win seats across the country next year will be hard, but I believe we can win if we come together now.

I hope you'll join the fight beside me.

P.S. I'm one of only a handful of people who can say they've run against an incumbent president before, so take it from me: We have to invest in building our party's strength now, even before we officially choose our Democratic nominee next July. Donate $3 before midnight to help put our eventual 2020 nominee and the rest of our Democratic candidates in the best possible position to take on Republicans and win.

A simple choice

I'm not running for president, but that doesn't mean I'm not as committed as ever to building the strongest Democratic Party possible.

DemocratsJoin us.
I'm not running for president -- but that doesn't mean our work is over. I'm committed as ever to building the strongest Democratic Party possible, and I hope you'll join me.

Back when I was Chair of the DNC, some folks called me the champion of direct mail and online fundraising. Because I knew then -- and know now -- that our party depends on grassroots supporters like you giving what they can, when they can, to elect Democrats in all 50 states.

I know you get a lot of emails like this, but I cannot stress enough the importance of donating in this very moment.

The DNC is doing some incredible work to ensure that our eventual Democratic nominee inherits a rock-solid party infrastructure, like their unprecedented data agreement that will supercharge the 50-state strategy or Organizing Corps 2020, which will train hundreds of homegrown field organizers to help elect the next Democratic president. None of that will happen without your support.

Donate $3 before tomorrow's deadline to help build the strongest Democratic Party possible so we can elect a Democrat to the White House and more up and down the ballot in 2020.

My choice not to run for president was a simple one: I could either spend eighteen months traveling around the country making stump speeches, or six months doing everything I can to help elect Democrats in my state. I chose the latter.

I am going to do everything I can to ensure Democrats gain control of the Virginia legislature, and after that you can bet your hat I will do everything I can to help elect our next Democratic president -- I hope you're on board too.

The Democratic National Committee is already hard at work laying the pavement for our nominee's path to victory. They've launched a few incredible programs to help make it happen, but those programs won't reach their full potential without supporters like you giving what they can, when they can.

Will you donate $3 to the DNC before tomorrow at midnight to build the strong party we'll need to elect Democrats from the school board to the Oval Office in 2020?

Thanks for your support,

Terry

If our eventual nominee has nothing in their bank account after a long primary, we're in big trouble

Let me tell you about Barack Obama's 2008 campaign.

DemocratsJoin us.
Let me tell you about Barack Obama's 2008 campaign.

Republicans had their nominee chosen by March, but the fight on the Democratic side was tough that year -- and we didn't have the nomination locked down until June. That put us two months behind our opponents' organizing, fundraising, and infrastructure-building -- two months that were hard to make up.

This year is no different. We have an amazing, but historically large field of Democratic presidential candidates and no idea how long our primary will last. What we do know is that if our eventual nominee has $0 in their bank account after a long primary, we're in big trouble -- unless we have a strong DNC.

Tom Perez and his team are working right now to defeat Donald Trump in 2020. We need to invest in good organizing -- and that's exactly what the DNC is doing. Good organizing got Barack Obama to the White House and is the only way to defeat Trump. That's why the DNC launched Organizing Corps 2020, a super smart program to train an army of organizers in critical battleground states ready to go work on the general election. We also need to reach more people online, and the DNC has made historic investments in data and technology. And while our incredible candidates navigate the primary process, the DNC needs to hold Trump and his Republican allies accountable. So, the DNC just launched an unprecedented effort to do just that through its War Room. In short, I couldn't be more proud of the work Tom Perez and his team are doing. They are stepping up and so should we.

Each month the Democratic National Committee has big deadlines like the one tomorrow at midnight. Whether or not we hit those deadlines will determine if the DNC is capable of sending a Democrat to the White House and winning seats up and down the ballot -- so, I gotta ask:

Will you donate $3 before tomorrow's critical deadline to help Democrats win up and down the ticket? Every cent you give will go towards electing Democrats in 2020.

Let's be clear: I'm not saying you shouldn't donate to your favorite candidates -- as someone who worked on President Obama's campaigns, I can tell you firsthand that they absolutely appreciate your support!

But what I am saying is that your donation to the Democratic Party today is a surefire way to make sure that whoever our Democratic nominee is will have the support they need to beat Donald Trump in November 2020.

Luckily, the Democratic Party has launched some cool programs to help our nominee take down Trump and his allies in 2020: Organizing Corps 2020 is going to recruit, train, and pay more than a thousand young organizers to work next year's election; the War Room is going to shape the narrative about how Trump is hurting American families in key battleground states; and their landmark Data Warehouse will completely change how campaigns use and share data.

But those programs won't reach their full potential without your support before tomorrow's deadline.

Donate $3 before tomorrow's deadline to help support the Democratic Party's awesome work.

Thanks for standing with Democrats,

I hope you'll give me a few minutes to explain why I am so excited about our Democratic slate before Tuesday's deadline:

As a strong supporter of the DNC, I know that you want everyone to have their fair shot at the American Dream.

I'm excited about the incredible slate of candidates running to be our next Democratic presidential nominee, and not just because I am committed to being neutral. Our candidates share common goals that represent who we are as Democrats, in sharp contrast to Trump. Just take a look at a few of the policies they're running on:
  • Helping America's middle class get ahead
  • Ensuring that every American can access affordable, quality health care
  • Providing affordable higher education so students can graduate debt-free
  • Facing climate change head-on and creating more good-paying, clean-energy jobs
As a strong supporter of the DNC, I know that you want everyone to have their fair shot at the American Dream. Donald Trump only cares about one thing: Donald J. Trump.

Trump and the RNC raised a whopping $76 million in the first quarter of this year alone -- that's 21 times more than President Obama had raised for his reelection by this point. Our eventual Democratic presidential nominee needs a strong DNC now to build the strong party infrastructure capable of lifting them and their policies to victory. We have already started the critical work of building this infrastructure, which is why Tuesday's deadline is so important. We rely on you, our grassroots supporters, to power us at the DNC! We are proud that two-thirds of our support is from our grassroots. You truly power the party.

Will you donate $3 before Tuesday at midnight to ensure we have the resources in place to put Democrats in the White House and seats nationwide who will fight for our values? We won't be able to do it without you.

People always ask me why they should support the DNC. We have nearly 20 people running for President, and the one thing we know is that every single one of them will need a strong party infrastructure to win. That means the best possible, data, organizing, research, digital assets, and so much more. The earlier we do the work, the more effective -- and cost-effective -- it is. No matter who wins the nomination, our eventual Democratic presidential nominee will need to have the full force of the Democratic National Committee behind them.

In order to win the White House and seats nationwide next year, we have to invest now, while it's still early in the race -- waiting until Democrats have chosen our nominee will be too late. Our eventual nominee will inherit our party's organizing, fundraising, and data operations, so in order to be ready to hit the ground running in the general election, I am asking you to make your first contribution to the DNC of 2019 right now.

Donate $3 before Tuesday's deadline to support the critical work the DNC is doing to ensure Democrats win nationwide in 2020.

Thanks for your ongoing support of Democrats.

Trump is trying to win big in 2020, we're not going to let that happen

Donald Trump's campaign is hoping we'll be "bruised, battered, and broke" by the time we pick a Democratic nominee. We must prove them wrong before Tuesday's deadline.

DemocratsJoin us.
Friend, our April fundraising deadline is Tuesday -- and we need your help.

Whoever our Democratic presidential nominee is, they will be up against an opponent who's been raising money for his re-election campaign since the day he was inaugurated. Donald Trump and the RNC have already raised a combined $76.1 million this year alone. Now, the Republican Party is planning to take that money to states like Pennsylvania and Michigan to help Trump win by larger margins than he did in 2016.

Thankfully, we've learned from our mistakes -- and together, we're going to do 2020 differently.

The Democratic National Committee has designed several programs to help our eventual nominee defeat Trump:
  • We're launching the DNC War Room to uplift stories of those most impacted by Trump's policies.
  • We're overhauling our data infrastructure with the Data Warehouse so that our candidates can best target voters and win elections at every level.
  • We're training and paying the next generation of organizers to work in key battleground states through Organizing Corps 2020.
Each one of these programs needs to be firing on all cylinders to give us the best shot at winning up and down the ballot in 2020. So, I'm asking:

Will you help us meet our April goal? Make a $3 donation before Tuesday's deadline to give Democrats the resources to win up and down the ballot in 2020.

Donald Trump and the GOP think that 2020 is going to be a cakewalk. When asked about our eventual nominee after the Democratic primary, a Trump campaign official said, "We expect them to be bruised, battered, and broke."

We're not going to let that happen though. We have an incredible pool of Democratic presidential candidates -- and now it's up to us to do everything in our power to support our eventual nominee. We must make sure that they can hit the ground running after the convention, but that requires supporters like you helping us hit this critical goal.

Make a $3 donation to the DNC before Tuesday's deadline to help hit this critical goal and send a message, loud and clear, that we're not rolling over in 2020.

Thank you for being a part of the fight.

This is how the DNC helped me in 2017, and how it will help Dems in 2020 →

Winning my Senate race in Alabama came with a key lesson: No matter how great a candidate you are, you won't win without the ability to share your message far and wide.

DemocratsJoin us.
Winning my Senate race in Alabama came with a key lesson: No matter how great a candidate you are, you won't win without the ability to share your message far and wide.

DNC resources were critical to my election as the first Democratic senator from Alabama in 25 years. The DNC was there with the tools and capacity that we needed -- building organizing infrastructure to take our message straight to voters' doorsteps and inboxes. But it took a number of resources.

Our eventual presidential nominee and Democratic candidates up and down the ballot will rely on those same resources to win on November 3, 2020. Which is why I am asking before Tuesday's critical deadline: Can I count on you to chip in $3 before Tuesday's deadline so that we can support Democrats up and down the ballot in 2020?

The 2020 election will be an uphill battle. Democrats like me who represent electorates that have been considered "deep-red" for decades are finding that our landscapes are changing as voters embrace our values of inclusion. Where opportunities are once again real, we need the support of the DNC to help push us across the finish line. The same will be true for our eventual nominee for president, who will be relying on our party to win the White House next year.

That's why it's so important that our party reaches our end-of-month fundraising goal and lays a strong foundation of talented staff, best-in-class strategies, community outreach, and more.

The DNC is working to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot. We need to uplift candidates across the nation who support expanding access to quality health care, strengthening voting rights, and uniting our local communities. every door knock, every voter call, every escort to the polls counts -- and it can't be done without the help of people like you.

Will you chip in $3 before Tuesday's deadline to provide Democrats with the resources we need to win from the school board to the Oval Office in 2020?

Thank you for standing with Democrats,

Doug
